I’m pleased to advise I’m running in the upcoming Bundaberg Regional election for Division 1.
After serving the community for just under 40 years with the Queensland Ambulance Service the last 15 as Officer in Charge and Operations Coordinator Bundaberg Group which covered Gin Gin, Childers, Burnett Coast and Bundaberg.

I believe that the NEW Mackay Regional Council has to be made up of a Mayor and Councillors who have passion, enthusiasm and a strong VISION for the future growth, planning and development , infrastructure and the very real needs of this community at heart; from the youngest to the oldest…. all inclusive.

Will Labor lose The Gabba ward and if they do who will be the winner -the Greens' Drew Hutton, or Liberal Matthew Myers?
Polling by Ask Australia suggests that at least Hutton is perceived as a potential winner by one of the parties. In the opinion of Graham Young, this is most likely to be Labor.

If our Sunshine Coast sample of 54 is representative (and they are
drawn from postcodes up and down the area, so they are at least
geographically representative) then Bob Abbot, Mayor of Noosa, is a
shoo-in for Mayor of the new local government area rather than Joe
Natoli, Mayor of Maroochy Shire.
