Lesley Noah writes in to chip us about our summary of the race in Logan. We have had a number of letters complaining about how we've characterised particular races - we'd like to stress that we're accepting material from all candidates, and are in no way seeking to influence readers about how they should vote. But we'll always publish fair criticisms of the site, and correct errors where they are pointed out!
My husband (Andrew Rimington)and I are running as Indepedent Mayoral candidates for Logan under the group name "From the People for the People".
We may not have millions of signs erected, but we are enjoying a lot of media attention from TV, radio and magazines because of our unusual situation - we are the first husband and wife team to nominate for the same role in the history of Australian politics. Our story was just on the 6.00 pm news on Channel 9 this evening and we have more TV exposure still to come.
